BW Portrait Art - Children's Portrait Sessions - Planning your child's session
- Our portrait sessions have a portrait pre-payment based on the location of your session. We do not charge separate session fees, so the portrait pre-payment will be applied completely towards your portrait order. The pre-payment is due when you schedule your session. The pre-payment amount starts at $300 for a studio session
- To ensure a unique, personal experience, as well as the individuality of your portraits, we recommend scheduling a pre-portrait consultation about one week before your session. At the consultation we will plan the setting, style and clothing choices for your child's portraits, and discuss the various options available for displaying your portrait images, such as lifestyle albums, wall portraits, wall galleries, and gift portraits.
- For your session, please bring multiple clothing choices for your child. We will help you decide which outfits and settings will create the best portraits. We have many in-studio background options, outdoor locations in our portrait park, and can photograph in multiple outdoor locations in the Andover area. A mileage charge will apply for locations more than 5 miles from the studio.
- About one week after your session, you will be invited to our studio for a personal screening of your previews. At the screening, we will discuss special effects, touch-up, and presentation options.
- A typical investment in children's portraits ranges from $300 to $750. We do offer payment plans to spread your investment over a period of months for qualifying orders.
